Hold fn, speak, and your words appear in any Mac app
Details
What is HoldTalk?
HoldTalk is a voice dictation app for Mac. Hold the fn key, speak, then release: the text goes in at the cursor, in any app. For long dictation, tap fn once and speak hands-free. Transcription runs on your Mac with Apple's speech engine (SpeechAnalyzer), and HoldTalk does not send your voice to a server or record it. It dictates in English, French and Spanish, keeps a personal dictionary and a searchable history of your last 1,000 dictations. You get 7 days of unlimited dictation, then 2,000 free words a week; HoldTalk Pro is a one-time purchase (19 EUR during the launch) for 2 Macs. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later.
